01 – Ōamaru Bay Boat Ramp
(~ 2 minutes north of Shelly Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park)

Fishing: Mussel farm zones just offshore are prime snapper territory

02 – Jacks Point Boat Ramp
(~10 minutes located in Coromandel Town)

Fishing: Great for deeper water and reef fishing around Coromandel Harbour entrance

03 – Te Kouma (Sugarloaf) Ramp

Boat ramp costs vary throughout the Coromandel. Many are free to use, while others – particularly those in high-traffic or industry zones – may require a permit or day fee. We recommend checking the TCDC website or contacting local visitor centres for the latest info.
